second day of work continues on the half-day-long project. I only worked about that much today as well as I spent some time exploring parks, riding monorails, and walking past parking lots.
i even went to a science museum in chiba! i rate it a Japanese Practice out of 10 as it is fully in Japanese and also very obviously aimed at grade school children, right down to the obligatory "press button to create mini tornado" exhibit.

on the anime side, I've been watching some uma museume (... topical typo) over the last few days out of curiosity and it's kind of hard to describe how I feel about it so far. there's parts of me that wants to go watch initial d, parts of me that want an idol anime cast without the... idol bits (I want a heist or ensemble action flick anime, I guess), part of me that just has kind of burnt out on kongou archetypes Kancolle years ago, part of me that just feels guilty for gaining knowledge on another Cygames Media Property...
I sound like a spoilsport but it's actually more like "I am using this to kind of sound out what I am actually in the mood for, because this is acceptable viewing but I feel like what would resonate with me is slightly something else". my favorite part of Umamusume so far is all the (similar to the other Cygames anime, concidentally) exaggerated gags, with an important fraction of them being complete no-sells.
also thank you to whoever decided that characters should get nameplates on introduction like forever because my memory is not going to keep up with Katakana Horse Challenge Deluxe
