someone uploaded to fanfiction dotnet every fanfic they could find from a early-2000s geocities fansite i once was a contributor for

, in the name of "finding the original fansite staff", including a 50k+ word reconstruction/rewriting of a lost fic that only had the logo remaining online; they left comments on each of the fics in the preface, and they called the fic I wrote when I was 12 the worst one on the entire site and recommended that no one read it ever

feburary 28th 2023, this is going to be the funniest thing that happens to me all month (checks date) and possibly next month

anyway thanks dude! the continued existence of this fic causes me more pain than it causes you

Years ago, at a friend's house me, my friend, and my partner got tipsy and read one another's old fanfiction. Mine was technically not fanfiction, but it was on ff.net. Except at some point they had migrated the "original fiction" section somehow and my stuff got mangled somehow.

So all that remained was one sentence in four, sometimes one word in four. And so to this day

lives in infamy as as a example of my awful sophomoric writing. I could not tell for several sentences that there was a problem.
