i make indie games

unvoiced 2* in a tokyo apartment trying to weld end-of-service anime characters into playstation 1 party games

kind of burnt out on the GBA project already. I've hit a few unexpected graphic issues which, while I don't know the cause of, are probably overcomeable with effort, but I've felt very like.... the game concept is too throwaway, like I'm making something that I don't find good enough to eat. so I don't know. I halted work for today for now

to get over it, I started some more games. I played Videocaptor Tomoyo for the Dreamcast, and confirmed that the game is the playable version of the Dril candle tweet but for Tomoyo narrating the entire user interface.

this game earned Pokemon Snap comparisons back in the day because you take pictures of things, but it should actually have it because of the incredibly short gameplay length heyoooooo. though Snap actually has things like interesting happenings, freedom of scene composition, and surprising interactions with pokemon. Videocaptor is more like 3 to 5 short diaramas you can kind of rotate and hit A when the UI tells you to.

I mean, technically it's Kero telling you when to take the shot. Tomoyo would never stand for this

Tomoyo does say "let's go desuwa" though so like, I can't really understate how much she makes the game

(I also started An Atlus Game but I'll save that for another time)
