rika shows up this episode (albeit not in-person) with a voice and a still shot! this surprised me, given that I assumed she was written out of the show due to her original voice actor passing away. but it's nice that they gave her a little moment that felt appropriate for "character who used to be part of core friend group who now goes to another school"
what happens this episode
sakura prepares a bento for flower viewing with her friends, while also asking touya if yukito's been eating a lot recently (a question he understands easily). somehow, everyone shows up before the scheduled meeting time, except for syaoran, who doesn't come in until after sakura captures the yeet card (gravitation) which pulls her backwards towards a giant cherry blossom tree. tomoyo and yamazaki continue to have one gag. sakura is a little down that syaoran didn't arrive in time to enjoy her bento, but he accepts it gratefully anyway. tomoyo sings upon everyone's request

yeah pretty much a nothing episode so it's all gonna be quips and gags here. congrats to chiharu for making lemonade (objectively good drink) and for a bunch of middle schoolers for kanpaing with plastic cups full of lemonade, which is something I never considered, having only started doing flower viewing after all my peers had traded lemonade for strong zeroes
