the more I watch episodes where like half of one thing happens amidst the card of the week and everyone hanging out, the more I'm convinced this is a 26-episode anime and not a 13-episode one. I didn't actually check
what happens in this episode
sakura goes to tomoyo's house to hang out. sonomi shows up to gush. the daidouji family has invented drones. oh no. sakura shows off the Record card, which produces perfect 3D recordings, but tomoyo prefers to put in the hard work herself. kero sends info on the clear cards to spinel in england, who is also leaving him on read. syaoran shows up at tomoyo's house and no one is sure why. sakura senses a clear card and syaoran attempts to fight air, but sakura holds him back and goes off to chase it. eventually, she works to befriend rather than subjugate it, and recruits Flight. syaoran makes a troubled face for the second episode in a row

I think it's really funny and appropriate that sakura and kero are both in a video call with yue from different devices in the same room. yue is the first person in this show to use wireless earbuds

syaoran's "transformation" sequence where he materializes the sword out of his body is honestly pretty awesome looking. is this new?

flight is just The Cooler Fly, or possibly The Less Cool Fly, depending on whether you'd rather have a cute bow or angel wings. a lot of the clear cards kinda have parallels to the original cards and I can't decide if that's just because there are only so many kinds of things to do or if this was an intentional move
