went to Shimokitazawa today to do some thrifting because I wanted to hit up an accessory store that I remembered being going to years ago. after checking out about a dozen secondhand clothes stores selling mostly Americana kitsch fashion (elementary school "student of the month" shirt? spray-paint NASCAR tees? Mario in 1993 Raiders fan gear? you got it but none of them are running you less than 4000y), I finally resigned myself to not finding
(took a fifteen minute break here because Albert from Granblue was trending and I had to find out if he was busted)
not finding the accessory store and ended up just doing two laps of Shimokitazawa for fun (the second lap being because I arrived at 11 but a lot of stores did not open until 12), when I accidentally got lost on my way back to the station and found the accessory zone. it's as bountiful as ever but my ears are not pierced which means my options are severely limited. I don't really think I'd want to change that
anyway I did see a pair of like, kitsune mask tassel earrings which I absolutely adore despite knowing they are the weebiest things ever so. Hm
