went to the kirby cafe today. reservations for the kirby cafe have been extremely tough ever since summer - it feels like a delayed 30th anniversary effect, as it was not terrible right after Forgotten Land, but with all the other promotions (the concert, tons of merch, etc) it's really stacked up.
which is good! the kirby series is a pure joy and I look forward to writing how the kirby series is your favorite restaurant and the sonic series is a saizeriya. if your favorite restaurant is saizeriya I respect it but it's no longer mine.

anyway back on topic, kirby cafe reservations open for month N+1 on the 10th of month N and usually fill in about an hour or so (including lots of waiting for pages to refresh), so basically this is the new idol concert for me.
the food at kirby cafe is quite good for a collab cafe! I would actually eat it without the Branding providing that the prices were not Brand Price.
I also recommend the Forgotten Land cake
I usually get the margherita pizza (which the staff tells you will recharge your energy with the power of a maxim tomato) and this time I shared the doctor drink set which comes with a whole bunch of color-changing liquids you mix like you're in a elementary school science fair. wouldn't get again, but it tastes pretty nice (artificial cherry, but not in the medicine way) and comes in an enormous glass that makes you feel like you're in vegas.
used up all my time talking about kirby but it was really just that, work, and finishing my 3rd run of shadow the hedgehog (semi-dark route but in japanese - imo the english dub works more for me because it's more obviously cheesy to my brain), as well as v4 of Disciple of the Lich, as mentioned yesterday. lunaère worked really hard this volume.
