I started playing LIVE A LIVE completely blind (other than knowing Megalomania and that it has Routes) and decided to do the Present Day route first. it was a little shorter than I expected and I got by with exactly one strategy (Perform Knockback).
I'm now on the Near Future route and I play like, 0 RPGs, but I'm delighted by how much this captures the spirit of Something a 12 Year Old Would Think Is The Coolest Route Ever. it has robots! light cussing! poop jokes! the robot song is FULLY DUBBED somehow. every battle is for some reason a puzzle to figure out how to navigate rush hour traffic to punch exactly one guy in the face. it's so unique
