relatively long workday today, for better or worse, so a lot of time was invested there. nonwork after the cut
after work, went to ichiran for dinner, I didn't think it had been that long since I had been to this particular one, but I just noticed that the pachinko place next to it closed in... august... so... anyway ichiran is still great. I turn the knobs on my order all the way to the right and I don't know if it's a good idea but it tastes good
spent a little too long scrolling pointlessly after getting home from dinner, and continued to reinforce my belief that I can most easily get myself to do something if I tweet to shame myself about not doing it, so I tweeted "spent like half an hour looking at nonuseful stuff online, posting to shame myself into finally reviewing my JLPT mock exam from Sunday"
I went over all the missed questions from my JLPT N2 practice exam, and felt a lot better at them with a fresh mind, which was a little reassuring - but by the end of my review I was already feeling fatigued, so I think a large part of my difficulty is definitely with stamina, something I will want to practice over the next 2 weeks.
most of the rest of my mistakes were either knowing 3 grammar points but not the fourth, most correct grammar point, or interesting idiom misses. I looked at 水を差す in relation to a conversation like "oh pouring water on a heated conversation to cool things off" rather than "damn people hate when you pour water on their conversation"
