took the second of three JLPT practice tests I have today. overall it felt much better comprehension and timewise than the first, but the increase in score was marginal (maybe like a 70% instead of a 66%, though it is appreciated). get some sleep and a balanced breakfast
(I don't have balanced breakfast I just have an excess of protein bars)
JLPT mostly feels like luck of the draw of whether I get the vocab and phrases you'd come across in obvious life here (as well as a reading passage about failing to get concert tickets, for some reason) but like, I guess that's how tests are
I realized I totally forgot about metal gear rising in the last month or so, so I picked it up and played another mission. my video game urge is waning a bit and I most accurately want to watch a movie of all the ridiculous cutscenes in this game, so tomorrow I'll hope to dedicate time to some more creative pursuits. my blood yells for it.
had gyukatsu yesterday. gyukatsu always owns
played ONRUSH for an hour or so since the servers are going down in four days, though it turns out I don't have PSN so effectively I am already playing offline. really unique game that instantly identifies itself as a 5-on-5 Hero Shooter where all the players are cars. I think it's interesting but also the flow of the driving didn't feel as noisy and chaotic as I was expecting (closer to a Burnout or Wreckfest)... perhaps fittingly for the genre it wants (E-Sports Car Violence) it felt a bit more like tactical chaos rather than just going wild in a mosh pit
tl;dr neat but I love Wreckfest
