sometimes you just don't have a day, y'know? like sometimes you have a nightmare that's so rough it kind of just leaves The Vibes Off all day and then nothing really gets done and you don't accomplish any leisure stuff also
sometimes it's monday even when it's a holiday
i did salvage this day in the bath a bit by solidifying a few character concepts together in the bath (is now thinking about the bathing habits of my OCs) that's a tough one actually
some days you want to have accomplished more on your projects but I'll take "managed to come up with a name and a few character arcs, and also thought about playing Dragon Quarter again (thought about playing the game for the first time, again)"
oh yeah game award tangent, way late - did you know my brain mixed up front mission and armored core for the longest time? took a new game, scored by austin walker to ante up, for me to figure that one out
I also listened to about half of a friend's podcast while cooking chicken meatball soup and hanging up laundry and stuff. this episode was about games of the year, which is to say, propaganda to get me to replay enthusia, the driving sim which, as Sakurina mentions, is What If A-Spec Points Were A Cornerstone of the Game's Design (personally I like how placing well but not winning with an underpowered car is at least marginally viable, from my memories). the urge to enthuse rises every week, even though I have a mountain of both new and old experiences to play through
(racing lagoon's english patch and choro q hg3 in japanese are also both on that list, so go cars)
here's a tweet about napping I did yesterday: "biggest trick I've done this year is that I read one post once that said that trying to nap but not falling asleep is about is good as actually napping. doesn't matter to me at all if it's true or not, I've decided I believe it's true and it's helpful"
