i make indie games

unvoiced 2* in a tokyo apartment trying to weld end-of-service anime characters into playstation 1 party games

twas the night before christmas, and all through the house, the granblue news was 65 minutes late, even FLB mouse

so here I am!

got a lot of really great feedback on the solitaire game I'm working on, which got me really pumped up to both respond to the outstanding comments and to work on some more iterations of the gameplay loop

and then sports story, long-awaited sequel to the 2017 indie darling golf story, stealthdropped**!

** actually it was the final day of nintendo us's actually-quite-good indie advent calendar

so that's actually what I did allllllllll day because this game has been coming for years, and after playing it for years (1 day) I am still only in Chapter 2

I didn't even realize there were chapters until I crashed the game after 4 hours and found out on the start menu. I am convinced I sequence broke out of Chapter 1 and am actually in Chapter 2 content, but I won't find out until I either go straight from Chapter 1 to 3, get blocked, or get in an unwinnable state

all are likely possible because this game has every bit the charm and heart as my memories of the original, but definitely with more ambition than polish lol.

granblue news is starting now so I'll give this game more time when I'm further in it, but what I'd say is that it's still very good and I adore how much it makes an unvoiced textbox sing, but there's a LOT of weird camera motions, graphical glitches, instability, and typos in the game right now and golf is still the best (and possibly most dominant) part of the game so I'm hoping a fix will take it from a I'm Having a Lot of Fun Game to a Great Game

anyway oh fuck granblue news is happening i'm being blown up bye
