i make indie games

unvoiced 2* in a tokyo apartment trying to weld end-of-service anime characters into playstation 1 party games

very mundane thing that happened: i accidentally left for work at the same time as the person from the apartment to my left. nothing weird about this but it made me think of this except we both were outside by the time we noticed

i'm still adjusting my commute time (for times where I don't leave for work before the sun is up), finding that leaving a little earlier actually made the train way worse. I think I might need to try to miss the "be there by 9AM rush" if I want a chance to do anything more complicated on my phone than granblue

I actually started a little Dragon Quest VIII on my 3DS as a treat while on the train after work, but it didn't really click yet. warm trains make me very sleepy in general, which means relaxing / slow paced games tend to knock me out really hard, which makes it a little tricky for a lot of decade+ old games that kind of take their time, plot and UI wise.

I am probably the problem here but it's interesting to note given that, on the go, I mechanically prefer games with few action components (due to needing to look up on the train and whatnot), but also, these games lead themselves to a real sleepy sorta pace sometime. maybe that means I should play them in bed lol

anyway my brain actually says "what if you found out what idolmaster DS was like" so ryo mode
