went out to meet a friend in akiba today and had gogo curry for the first time in a few years.
we had "free topping" coupons, which, as it turns out, could actually be used for any topping on the menu, which means I added a 250y pork katsu to my 600y curry for free. pretty good value although given the abundance of coupons (we left with more coupons than we started with) I get the sense that it's one of those places with perpetual coupons where you are paying the real price with a coupon and the tourist markup without a coupon
I mean it wasn't great katsu anyway but like I'll eat it
found out the 1/1 scale pekora was in the akihabara animate, so went and took a few pictures of her (friend incorrectly called her a 1/4 at first, which would make her sufficiently larger than life), as well as checking out the pekotessential pekotuplets gallery. Gamer Hoodie Peko of course was the top-selling one. don't mind the peko daleks.
there was also a girls' last tour exhibit next door, so I enjoyed the vibe of that as well as tsukumizu's other manga about girls who grow food from their head or whatever. sustainable living
