unvoiced 2* in a tokyo apartment trying to weld end-of-service anime characters into playstation 1 party games

closed out the month with an archaic ritual known as Watching Some Anime

I spun the wheel in my head and it said "I have no idea what Akiba Maid War is" and now that I've watched a handful of weapons -

wait hold on fingers why did you typo "weapons" over "episodes". Well, you were right, I suppose

anyway so I checked out Akiba Maid War and have concluded that I used to believe, through internet osmosis, that the manager was the mythical Kobeni that I hear of in whispers and RTs

anyway the show itself is pretty entertainingly unique in the way that it's a speedrun of illegal underground plots with s/mafia/maids run over the entire script. personally, I'm not attuned enough to maids to really feel that the moe element fully elevates it - but I will admit the juxtaposition helps makes sure you don't take everything 100% seriously.

you thought this episode was going to be an over-the-top parody of a gambling anime? wrong! there's no turnabout substance here. you want turnabout? here's the turnabout: A Gun. tune in next week when we're going to do an RTA of fight clubs
