lexy went over grids and flexbox not too long ago (but they haven't updated the old posts to link to it so i didnt even know they updated the guide until recently) https://cohost.org/lexyeevee/post/2157975-css-for-css-baby-4
i tried converting it myself to practice but im just a chicken nugget and gave up halfway making it work LOL

So not sure if this will help at all. I mostly style with divs and HTML so what I'll do is just inspect elements on a css crimes post and see how they do things and assess how much effort it is 🤭 I'm sure some people are using builders, but for simple stuff like coloring divs and shaping them, looking under the hood works fine for me.
anything in the style section will affect the look and anything in class is mostly for CSS calls or organizational purposes.
I think most web browsers let you inspect elements somehow, but for chrome it's just right click anywhere on the browser (preferably over the element you want to inspect) and then go all the way down to "inspect"
Also sorry if any of this is something you know already 😅
