i think that the biggest strength yugioh has over many other card games on the market is the sheer quantity of lesbians. there's not just one lesbian deck, there are like... a dozen. the game is just insanely homosexual at a level that magic could only dream of
it's a shame the anime mostly focuses on male homoeroticism rather than being equal opportunity. but in the anime's defense, they're all really gay, and not even in just a typical "misogynistic shounen" way. like male characters in yugioh love calling each other aibou and telling each other that they love them. it's wild
