8. What do you like most about your own work?
I think the thing I like the most about my work is that it's mine!
There's just a certain way I draw things that's made it so I enjoy looking at my own art a lot!
14. How has your art changed over the years?
- Everything was drawn on notebook paper, then printer paper; now I draw on blank notecards, watercolor paper, &/or on a tablet for digital art!
- Everything was colored with colored pencils, then watercolors; I now use India Inks &/or CSP EX for digital art!
- I'm pretty sure every character's eyes that I drew were once all tall ovals; now I make sure that my characters have a lovely variety of eye shapes! (Very few have those tall oval eyes today!)
- I used to be pretty much incapable of drawing a body that wasn't skinny; now I can draw pretty much any body type today, although I may need some practice & reference images with certain details on muscular & skinny bodies!
- I used to only draw side profiles for years; now I can draw 3/4 profiles, front profiles, & back profiles, although I think I need a little more practice with backs today!
