new futurama is impressively whatever. like it feels like an AI cranked out an A-plot for a futurama episode and then like an underpaid intern went over the script and padded it out to be twenty-two minutes. there are a couple good jokes in there but so far it's just a little sad

sounds like the worst kind of return to me - the kind that isn't Outright Bad enough to be intriguingly outraged over, nor Properly Good enough to genuinely enjoy
yeah. it was about what i was expecting, so i'm not disappointed, but, y'know, whatever. i haven't cared about futurama in a good eight or nine years anyway. would have preferred it be better, though
