originally i had unsigned integers in places where it wouldn't make sense to have them be signed -- you can't have a die with negative sides, and it's not meaningful to roll negative dice, typically -- but i figured this makes long-term maintenance easier and maybe some day someone will come up with a meaningful interpretation of those concepts that i'll want to implement

makes sense
yes
if anyone ever figures out how to roll a die in the shadow realm it'll be very useful
on the other hand, now you can only roll a dice of whatever the largest possible value of an i64 is, instead of a u64

the sacrifices we make
honestly kavi i had this whole game concept that i'm just going to have to throw out the window i'd written eighteen quintillion four hundred and forty-six quadrillion seven hundred and forty-four trillion seventy-three billion seven hundred and ninety million five hundred and fifty-one thousand six hundred and fifteen possible outcomes and now i have to scrap nine quintillion two hundred and twenty-three quadrillion three hundred and seventy-two trillion thirty-six billion eight hundred and fifty-four million seven hundred and seventy-five thousand eight hundred and seven of them. thanks
fuck!!!!
even worse i just realized it's nine quintillion two hundred and twenty-three quadrillion three hundred and seventy-two trillion thirty-six billion eight hundred and fifty-four million seven hundred and seventy-five thousand eight hundred and EIGHT. because of zero.
