at first i didn't think this worked, chronologically speaking

but actually the timing lines up! according to wikipedia (as well as other sources i googled) the current J/Z skip-stop service was implemented in 1988. jay-Z has had an active musical career since a little bit before then--somewhere in the late 80s--BUT apparently he went by "jazzy" for a bit before switching to jay-Z. therefore we can conclude that this is...
