not on an actual gamecube--technically i do own one of those but it lies In The Realm To Which I May Never Return, so they're just gonna be on my laptop.1 the first of them will be jdaster64's Infinite Pit, which is a mod of paper mario: the thousand year door which functionally turns it into a roguelike game! i haven't played TTYD in easily four or five years, so i'm going to suck shit at it, but it'll be a lot of fun!
the second is gonna be primehack, which is actually a modded dolphin client that allows for keyboard and mouse controls in all three metroid prime games. i am doing this instead of shelling out forty bucks for the remaster. it's been a little under a decade since i last tried my hand at metroid prime, so i'm SUPER excited to get back to it.
i don't have any other modded games i'm looking into trying, yet, but if you have any suggestions, let me know! (also any suggestions for gamecube games in general. i've played most of the console's highlights (hover here to see the full list) but i'm always happy to try new stuff.)
(also! if you aren't interested in hearing Cass And Rose Gamer Hour, feel free to mute the tag, well, "cass and rose gamer hour". i'll try to be good about using it.)
1 i have a gamecube controller with an adapter from my smash 4 days, though!
