Yea, I thought the TV series was better than the OVA. This was the last episode (3 or 4) I remember watching. I did enjoy this particular episode :D!
IIRC, I had a magic xylophone moment when watching the OVA and became annoyed with the fact that the TV series and OVA are two separate continuities.
