also funny in that by the time I was a kid growing up, one of Grape Nuts' biggest selling points on their box was "put it in the microwave and eat it hot!" so... apparently they decided "feel free to cook THIS FOOD"
For the prototype, the company would send a complimentary street urchin to your home to stand next to the stove and glare at you if the Grape Nuts ever came too close.
I'm always amazed by the verbosity of old packaging and advertisements.
