With browser extension APIs changing, and the Sisyphean effort people undergo to maintain extensions, I figure making some userscripts for myself might have better longevity
userscripts are a lot better than extensions imo because they take about 5 seconds to set one up
that sounds awesome. I'm also kinda looking forward to tweaking things endlessly
I am not at all proficient in webdev in general, but writing userscripts has probably been the most frictionless experience I've had with writing JS. I manage to scoot by with my basic familiarity with frontend stuff, knowing what a querySelector does, and a whole lot of string manipulation. Highly recommended
