I used to go there the first time I lived in Seattle. I was a temp SWE in the Fremont Google office, so it was a pretty short walk there

Fremont is a really cute and good neighborhood! When moving back, my partner and I were briefly considering a condo in the area. I do miss being in a more walkable part of town. We ended up renting an apartment on the east side for cost effectiveness, and extra space so we could both work from home and have an office.

Maybe in the future though when we're ready to pony up for a condo or something, I'll wind up in the neighborhood. It's high on my list of places to live! :)

how're you liking living in the area? working out well for you?

that sounds amazing tbh. I was in belltown before and miss walking to all the good food there. but also I've been too nervous of covid to eat-in at a restaurant since the pandemic started. I wonder if the covid numbers will ever hit zero again
