Last I knew it was basically either an everdrive or a ezflash, and both are heavy on the batteries. iirc one was marginally better, but we're talking an extra hour at most.

Oh--it's not they only give one hour of play time, it's "these two options are within one hour of having the same affect on battery life". I don't remember how much of a dent vs regular carts on a regular gameboy they have but it's somewhere between 30-50% higher battery consumption?
I bought an everdrive off Stoneagegamer for my Gameboy Micro and so far I have no complaints. Your mileage may vary in terms of battery life and an OEM micro"s battery wasn't the best of its lineup. Mine has a modded battery though and I haven't really had any problems with the power draw. Plus the color is cute
