I was looking to get a flash cart that:

  • Supports GB, GBC, GBA games
  • Can store multiple roms on an SD card or similar
  • Ideally isn't horrible on battery

There's a bunch out there, but I'm finding them hard to compare!

Alternatively, do you have recommendations for an Analogue Pocket core that can play roms from the internal SD card?

Oh--it's not they only give one hour of play time, it's "these two options are within one hour of having the same affect on battery life". I don't remember how much of a dent vs regular carts on a regular gameboy they have but it's somewhere between 30-50% higher battery consumption?

I bought an everdrive off Stoneagegamer for my Gameboy Micro and so far I have no complaints. Your mileage may vary in terms of battery life and an OEM micro"s battery wasn't the best of its lineup. Mine has a modded battery though and I haven't really had any problems with the power draw. Plus the color is cute
