they're even balanced since you're slowed (15ish% regardless of if autofire is enabled) for a little bit after attacks so there's a tradeoff for leaving it on
and autotarget is not smart, so your positioning skills matter more.
but together they let you play it with wasd and space (or rebind it)
💭game where i can write my own targeting program (eg target the strongest enemy, target the lowest health enemy, etc)
oh i know, i bought it when it came out, but didnt get too in to it (i don’t much like roguelites in general)
the new one is alot easier imo and much more about honing. especially with the aptly named weed whacker (don't take tsuchinoko early game though or you'll be frustrated)
I have had maybe 1 run where I'm racing timeout, but had a lot of those in the base game
