fun fact! other names i almost used instead of catherine when i was deciding in like 2011 include:
there was at least one person who called me Addie and Maddy variously for a bit, but I decided I didnt like those as shortened nicknames, and Catherine shortens to Cat
holy crap, those same names were on my short list! :00 it's basically a fluke that Ada isn't short for Adelaide lol
they're good names! Ada is too tho! I have a girlfriend named Ada~
