I was reading about a Zapatista outreach thing and saw:
The crew of seven was composed of two men, four women and one non-binary person (referred to as "otroa" in Spanish)
and went to the source cited there to find out more and read:
Spanish nouns have grammatical gender. The suffix “-o” conventionally designates masculine nouns, while “-a” is used for feminine ones. Thus, “otroa” conveys the word “other” with both masculine and feminine suffixes
which was neat! then looked up more and read about otroas in the context of the zapatistas over here
and then added to the wikipedia more detail in the form of a footnote and added the extra source, because Wikipedia is for better or worse still one of the most used & updated reference materials freely available; you should go edit it if you have the time and energy and put more queer shit in there
