just realized a post I replied to was deleted yesterday lol, if that's what this post was in response to, IIRC it was mostly talking about how AI grifters claim errors will eventually stop happening because "the technology will keep improving" but that's not how technology works, problems don't just magically fix themselves over time.
This is way too accurate, I'm thinking there's a lesson here but I'm unsure what it is
What if instead of deleting a post, you could just disavow all association with that post? Shows up in rechosts and tag search, but not on your profile, and nowhere on it is any indication it was made by you?
(That data of course still being stored internally to allow moderation of that post to affect your account)
That reminds me that the person that made the "mario pissing" video had officially disowned it at some point; i know this because at one point the video had "(no longer disowned)" in the title which is just a wild thing to see lol
sometimes the post is bad tho. i delete posts all the time....
