i fully believe that the only reasonable way to capture video from an old computer is to have someone else watch the capture session like a hawk the entire time, because if you're trying to monitor whether the mother fucking piece of shit has just inexplicably stopped updating the video stream and work the computer at the same time, you'll either make a bad video or wind up with an .mp4 containing 45 minutes of the windows boot splash
is what i would say if i wasn't the only guy on all of youtube who actually has an assistant who can do that for him. instead my answer is "you cannot capture video from an old computer"
