current concept is for it to be a minecraft-esque system where the terrain and static buildings/roads/etc will be ~1 m3 voxel data, with human/animal mobs in continuous/sub-voxel coordinate space. Instead of having a specific set of buildings you can place, buildings would be designable blueprints that you can then stamp in places as building sites for your little guys to build. I'll start with a 2d prototype in some kind of ECS system I think.. while thinking about data structures etc for 3d to see if it'd be technically feasible in the way I want
