also i'm incredibly grateful for modern medicine and medical professionals - just a couple decades ago my wife and our child both would likely have died. My wife got pre-eclampsia and needed a c-section, and our baby was born without a heartbeat. It's been a scary couple weeks but both are home and recovering well!
