Ahsoka spoilers
- the show gets actually good around episode 4
- Baylan-Ahsoka duel is actually a really well done lightsaber fight?
- Sabine pretending to force push Shin but then using her wrist weapons was fun
- Jacen does not look mixed human/twi'lek like I'd have expected, wonder if they just wound up with an allergic reaction to a prosthetic or something?
- purrgil based transportation was good
- I'm glad they had 3PO show up instead of deepfaking Leia again
- Huyang fighting was cool but also why won't he use lightsabers?! He's been doing lightsaber stuff for a thousand years. Early on I was thinking like, Ahsoka should give him one since she has two, or Sabine should give him hers since she also has guns and beskar. And then later it turns out he has all the lightsaber parts and crystals on the ship?? Huyang should've just put together four lightsabers for himself real quick when they were getting in more fights
- Hayden does a good job with better writing and directing and with his character having been fleshed out by several seasons of cartoon
- Morgan is a really boring villain, glad they have Thrawn in this show
- love those little Noti guys!
- Ezra is adapted really well also
- as soon as I saw the red ribbons on the stormtroopers I figured they might be undead and I was sort of right
- Sabine ending up able to use the Force is great and going back to something more like the original concept of the Force. Also very similar to how Luke developed his connection in ANH and TESB, starting with heightened awareness, telepathic communication, and force pull on a lightsaber in a dangerous situation
- Baylan is probably trying to get into the world between worlds or Mortis planet or something, which would be an interesting season 2 I guess
- Baylan is probably the best acted character and it's sad the actor died. They'd better not do a fucking deepfake for a season 2
