Hey ADHD people in the US if you are making any dish that requires/would benefit from "make ahead" prep, do it right now.

Make that pie dough, chop those veggies, defrost that bird, or whatever it is

Bonus tip: write what the next step is on a post it and stick it to whatever it is you're prepping

Bonus bonus tip: tomorrow stick a post it with (re)heating instructions on the finished dish, especially if taking it somewhere

I make a pumpkin pie every year because it's my mother's favorite. If there's going to be anyone other than just us two, I also make a pecan (and knowing how to make a good pecan pie is Knowledge That Should Be Sealed Away).

I burnt the cranberry sauce so I get to make it again tomorrow.

Joke's on the cranberries though, making cranberry sauce is my favorite part of Thanksgiving, followed shortly by eating stuffing.
