In this week's pasha we saw the commandment to leave forgotten harvests in the field so that people who cannot afford food can glean, and the footnotes to our Chumash recounted a story of how Rabbi Zadok lamented that since this mitzvah involved forgetting to do something one could not purposefully pursue it, and he was heart broken to know there would be one mitzvah that he might never get to perform. One harvest late into his life he found that he had forgotten some of his crops so could finally perform this mitzvah! To which he threw a festival to celebrate

A while back I was delighted to learn there are Israeli groups dedicated to helping people perform various obscure mitzvot, iirc most of them can only be done in the land of Israel (I can't find any from a quick Google search right now, sorry, but I read an article about one such group where some folks were harvesting a field)
