Tevildo, who is as stupid as he is handsome, ate a baby bottle nipple and got it stuck in his small intestine, so now he's in the middle of his 2 week confinement in a room separated from his big sister Rick Astley so he can recover from abdominal surgery.

He's bored in there so I periodically set up my Switch as a little cat TV for him; hard to tell if he enjoys it because whenever I'm in the room he just wants to cuddle.

He has recovered well from his abdominal surgery and been back to his usual self!

...his usual foolish pica-having self. Last night he chomped off the tip of a pacifier, of the same size and shape as the nipple that was stuck in his intestine 🙃

I brought him to the vet ER as soon as I realized last night, they did x-rays and saw it in his stomach but also it was full of food, so now we're back again this morning when the food will have hopefully moved on so it's easier to try to scope the thing out.

I feel horrible I need to protect him better from himself and get my shit together, I'm so overwhelmed and my apartment is such a mess. And like.. I really need to do better than this by the time my baby is mobile in a few months!!
