it's so fucking hard. because there's no other indication on this site I've found myself counting my notifications when I post new art or w.e and it's! so bad! for the brain!!

Yeah same here. I love doing stuff for myself but the community and reaction to art is so fun to me but the stress of something doing "bad" hurts so much lol. Need to just remember it's all for my own good to stop caring lol
Honestly it's so tough, since this is also a job for a lot of people so you wanna do numbers for exposure. But then again there are tons of successful artists with small followings and numbers!! So clearly it isn't about likes it's about finding your people. But also...big numbers feel good. Cohost is doing a lot to help that tbh, I find I'm not as focused on the numbers since here they don't even have em so I forget to look lol
Yeah I'm really enjoying cohost for that too and I'm trying to not worry bc I have the backing all on discord. It's just.. big number good and brain want it...
