Yeah, that's one of them. I'm real partial to Heavy Gear 2 which does the Mech simulation thing but makes Mechs into a light-cavalry thing. Like, a tank is a big deal in that game.

Real pain.
I like things with speedy magic flying mechs that might as well just be big people, they can be fun! But I'm not interested in videogames about them. I want to feel the groaning of 1000 tonnes of metal every step I take and worry about my skin sloughing off because my lasers are overheating.
