I’m typically playing a couple games a day in Mahjong Soul, Adept I in Bronze rooms. Definitely feels like I’m losing (as in 4th place) more frequently, offset by big wins.
Maybe I ought to just move up to Silver? When I started out I was definitely playing more conservatively, and I think sticking around in Bronze has started habituated me to playing faster, riskier, and more open. Which I shouldn’t. Except when I should, and I need to better understand the difference.
I also need to be smarter about my discards, I’ve definitely screwed my hands over more than a few times, regardless of outside influence.
Also the demons have been cruel as of late. 😢
