Ngl, finding out that my Reddit client can hide the popular/all feeds from my list of subreddits has been game-changing. That little extra bit of friction means I basically never visit them anymore, and they were by far my main source of bad brain there. It's dramatically cut down on my habit of mindlessly doomscrolling for stimulation.
Of course, I still constantly refresh my feeds because social media has hijacked my brain's reward centers, but at least I actually like the posts I see now.
