"Moving Forward, Looking Back is a representation of my fear of change. The world I create around me is one that I cherish most for its security. I am aware of how it holds me back when I retract from situations that spell major change; I know how it affects me, which is why I still choose to move forward. Everyday is a challenge to move forward, and I can’t help but look back at my past, my mistakes, and the vistas I hold dear. I have my regrets and “what-if”s and it is increasingly difficult to let those go. I still look to these thoughts, but I live my life without letting those desires get in my way as much as I can help."
