I haven't really figured out how I want to manage multiple identities/types of content streams here yet and I think I'm just gonna follow everyone on this page to start. If I decide to organize things a little better, unfollowing so I can re-follow elsewhere doesn't feel nearly as momentous as bird site. (And it's easier to sort things by tag/CW!)

One problem I had elsewhere is like, trying to juggle a "normal" presence with a NSFW page. Relegating all my interactions in kink spaces to an alternate account always felt weird, since plenty of people in that space just use their main. It always felt split-brain, like stuff I posted on the alt was just one little slice of me that didn't belong on my other account. I feel like probably that's overthinking it, but I'm not sure.

in reply to @chamomile's post:

i've got a separate page for posting nsfw content (and that's only because i have this page linked from my website) but i doubt i'm ever going to think too hard about interacting with nsfw content on main from my timeline when it shows up - since this is in fact not twitter, nobody is going to see me commenting on something salacious unless they would have seen the post anyways (and i mean at that point what did you expect), and of course nobody will ever be able to see that i've liked something

My thoughts exactly. I don't have any nsfw to speak of to post, so for now that's not an issue. I'll decide later if I actually want a separate space or just CW it all. (By that point, I'll probably see what other people have settled on doing.)
