After dark bonus: SETI in a creepy, run-down radio telescope control lab

A balcony with a lonely telescope overlooks an unlit parking lot that abruptly ends in an endless void. There's a tree growing from an opening in the pavement, and there are several objects stuck in its canopy as if someone had thrown them up there. How odd!

We also explored this recreation of the level from Voices of the Void, an indie game where you receive and decode signals from space and (REDACTED).

While we were standing in the parking lot, @Dvorakir says they saw a strange shadowy figure with a glowing red aura standing in the window inside, but it disappeared as soon as they noticed it. We spent some time trying to get it to reappear or see if anything changed, but we didn't turn anything up. I'm not sure if they found anything after I left!

@chamomile

We learned that you could fly by sitting in the pooltoys and grabbing them. With a deft enough hand you could even vaguely influence the direction you were going! This was a cool section of the world; you could grab a pooltoy (if you weren't already one yourself!) and float along in the lazy river. The were also underwater meeting rooms and lounges, which are very normal and expected for all pools of course.
