i'm only a recent Mountain Goats convert. my boyfriend has been listening to John and the gang since high school, but it's taken me years to come around to them. i'm so glad i've finally wisened up.
Clean Slate is the lead single from Jenny from Thebes, their new album coming out this October. they do an album nearly yearly it's insane. it's so good. so so good. i love almost all of John's more lo-fi work, but hearing tackle something that's more produced is fantastic and almost overdue in some ways. this bops and you should listen to it. often.
this has been on at least once a day ever since it dropped. i'm love this song!!!
