Elevator pitch: Salaryman Devil May Cry
You play as an industry spy named Asaru, taking out robotic security using your briefcase, exploding business cards, and an umbrella/Yamato stand-in. It's simple enough on the surface to have fun running through and mashing buttons, but it's got depth in its mechanics: staggered combos, just-frame attacks, enemy step, witchtime-esque dodges, and a bunch more. The sort of game that begs for combo videos to be made out of it.
It took about 4 hours to beat, but that was only for one character. In addition to Asaru, you unlock Amelia, a gung-ho, red-white-and-blue clad CIA agent with a completely different combat style.
I definitely recommend this game, especially if you're a fan of Devil May Cry.
