NOCTORAN II
densely-yet-limitedly atmospheric black metal. more focus on longer songs that get more opportunity to breathe in their moments. in this record, i experiment with the implementation of keyboard synths, featured in every song, and with it being highly prominent on "Cathedral of Haunting Memories" (which i posted a demo for last month) and "In the New Era, I Still Suffer", which combines synths with guitar on a loop pedal. for fans of longer songs with distinct moments.
NOCTORAN III
leaning much heavier into the traditionalist black metal roots of the project, this can be considered more of a direct expansion on "Thy Curses We Bear Eternal", featuring more straightforward and simple compositions played more raw and aggressive, and even heavier use of discordance. all killer, no filler. for when you're feeling more "evil" than "malaise".
