at the start of this month, i gave myself a challenge; write, record, mix and master some new @NOCTORAN music before Bandcamp Friday. while i failed to complete the record in time for that, i did end up cooking some raw music that i'm very proud of. and i even ended up finishing my birthday drawing and using it as the album art!
thus; "Blood of Satan"! this album's a bit of an extension of the more traditional and raw style of classical black metal, much like last month's "The Clouded Peak of Null Space" demo. there's a bit more bass presence this time around, leading to a "heavier" sound. i'm really proud of this new material, so i hope you enjoy it.
final recordings begin this week (today in fact!), with mastering and then release following.
