On Cohost/Tumblr I'm thinking maybe I'll post long form things I can't post on other places... I always want to talk about my webcomic LOL I'm very chatty about characters unfortunately. I'm still learning how to use this site though, so please be patient with me.
Anyway here's Lawrence (left) and Edel (right). I think most people would recognize Lawrence if they know anything about Solstoria, but I haven't really gone too far into Edel.
Once again, they're from my webcomic Solstoria
I wrote about Edel earlier in the week so here's that snippet:
Edel is a young man from a prestigious family of magicians and business folk. He is a student at the school of alchemy in the city of St. Helena and studies to become an alchemist with a specialization in botany. His current guardian is his uncle, a city magistrate with a dour personality. After rumors of his mother’s disappearance and father’s death began to surface, many other well-to-do families consider his family name cursed. They all just love gossip, so it’s understandable.
Edel himself has a quiet personality, often mistaken for being rude or blunt when he doesn’t want to be bothered. When he does speak at length, his voice carries a careful, almost rehearsed tone.
If you want to catch him with a brighter face, it’s advised to listen to him speak on the beneficial properties of some botanical plants. He’s gifted in potion making and advance knowledge of the combined magical and scientific worlds. Unfortunately, he seems a little scared of magic.
Edel doesn’t necessarily use weapons but he is a lantern bearer, one who utilizes purifying lanterns to explore haunted areas. He also carries his father’s knife, usually, to cut plants and stuff like that.
